The shortlisted contenders to win The Turner Prize 2009 are currently being exhibited at Tate Britain Gallery, London. The event has been on show since october 6th and runs through to 16th January 2010, with the winner being formally announced on 7th December. This weekend (Saturday 21st November) sees both Football Clubs from Manchester playing against both Clubs from Liverpool in the English Premier League.

Manchester City make the short trip to Anfield to play Liverpool FC in the Lunchtime kick off; whilst Everton take their depleted squad in the opposite direction to face Premier League Champions Manchester United at Old Trafford in the days Tea time kick off.
