Serviced apartments available in Liverpool for Johnny Cash tribute performance at the O2 Academy

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011

Apartments in Liverpool are still available for the night of a Johnny Cash tribute show at the O2 Academy. If you are going to be attending the concert and are looking for somewhere to stay, why not try a serviced apartment? Serviced apartments are an increasingly popular alternative to the traditional hotel room option as they can offer much more space and comfort. To take a look at Liverpool apartments, just visit the Liverpool city page on this website to see the kind of options available.

Johnny Cash died in 2003, leaving behind one of the most impressive bodies of work in popular music. The Man in Black was a true rock and roll outlaw, and his appeal crossed generations and genres. Before his death, his work with producer Rick Rubin had brought a whole new generation of music lovers under Cash’s spell. His cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Hurt” sums up the man’s power; he managed to take on one of Trent Reznor’s most iconic songs and make it his own. For those of us who didn’t have the chance to see the man himself in concert, the tribute show at Liverpool’s O2 Academy is a great opportunity to see some of his best songs performed live. Johnny Cash had a lot of classic tunes such as “Folsom Prison Blues”, “I Walk the Line” and “Ring of Fire”, and the CASH tribute show will recreate these as best as possible. The show should be a great experience for any Johnny Cash fan and for anyone who has yet to familiarise themselves with the Man in Black. His influence shows no signs of diminishing as there are plenty of new artists who sing the praises of Johnny Cash, and he has taken his place in the rock and roll pantheon.

If you will be coming to Liverpool to see CASH at the O2 Academy then why not stay in a Liverpool serviced apartment? Serviced apartments are a home away from home, with the typical serviced apartment having a lounge and dining area and a kitchen. If you would like to find out more about Liverpool apartments, then either call us on 0844 335 8866 to speak to a member of our reservations team, or send us your enquiry through our website.

Liverpool Accommodation when going to see Westlife.

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

For anyone looking to get Liverpool accommodation in May 2012 for the Westlife, be sure to book early to avoid disappointment as people are sure to be flocking from all over the globe to see the boys in action. There are plenty of Liverpool accommodation options to choose from the city, however a wise choice would be serviced apartments, which are part of a growing sector of serviced accommodation that more and more people are choosing.

Westlife need no introduction; however they will get one anyway. Westlife are an Irish boyband constructed by Simon Cowell with the aim of world domination. The group were originally a six-piece but once Cowell got his claws into them he demanded they get rid of at least 3 of them and hire 2 more better looking members. One of the members, Bryan, changed his name from ‘Brian’ as the new spelling would be better to put on autographs. They have released lots of singles and albums and sold millions of copies and made loads of money for Simon Cowell. They’ve broken numerous records in the charts and had many number 1s. They have released 2 greatest hits albums already, one of them after being round for 3 years, the other after 11. They have performed to such immensely famous people as Pope John Paul II, Barak Obama, the Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah and Queen Elizabeth II. Basically they are pretty darned massive.

Westlife will be travelling to Liverpool in spring 2012 to perform as a part of their Greatest Hits Tour. They will be arriving into the city on May 15th 2012 and are playing at the Echo Arena, Liverpool’s premier music venue. They have recently announced that they will be splitting after this Christmas’s Greatest Hits Album and the Farewell Tour later in 2012, so as to maximise the value of the concerts. The Echo Arena has seen many big acts play over the few years it’s been open, so Westlife don’t need to feel to down that they have to go to Liverpool.

For those looking for Liverpool Accommodation, why not try booking a serviced apartment for your stay. Liverpool has a large number of serviced apartment options when compared to similarly sized cities so you will have a good number of options to choose from. If you are finding yourself overwhelmed by the amount of choice on offer, then why not contact Serviced City Pads who can provide a wide range of serviced apartment types for your stay.

Book a Liverpool Serviced Apartments when you go to see Snow Patrol

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Booking a Liverpool serviced apartments is a great idea for anyone who will be in the city to see Snow Patrol at the Echo Arena this February. The Arena is right in the centre of Liverpool on Kings Dock so wherever your Liverpool serviced apartment is you can be sure to be close to the arena as well as all the other delights that Liverpool has to offer.

Snow Patrol originate from Northern Ireland, specifically Bangor in County Down. This is not to be confused with Bangor in North Wales, even though it is actually quite close (closer to Liverpool as the crow flies. Or any other sort of flying bird for that matter.) The band is now based in Scotland in Glasgow and are one of the UK biggest selling bands currently. They released 3 albums whilst they were on independent labels which were commercially unsuccessful, but once they signed to label Polydor Records, they achieved lots of commercial success.

The album the rose Snow Patrol to national fame was their major label debut ‘Final Straw’ which was released in 2003. It has been certified 5 x platinum, which means it sold loads and loads. As of whenever, it had sold 3 million copies worldwide. They received even more Internation fame after the release of their next album ‘Eyes Open’ with the hit singles ‘Chasing Cars’ which was the best selling album of the year in the British charts. Their fifth studio album ‘A Hundred Million Suns’ was released in 2008 and then they brought out a compilation album in 2009 called ‘Up To Now.’

The name of the band ‘Snow Patrol’ came after they were originally called ‘Polar Bear.’ We can only speculate that they are from the Arctic Monkeys school of band-naming in that they like cold themes. Possibly one of the band members’ fathers used to or currently works in a polar region in some sort of policing role? It’s hard to tell.

When you’re looking for Liverpool accommodation, there are plenty of options in the city to choose from. One accommodation type that is experiencing rapid growth in the city is serviced apartments. As with Manchester, Liverpool has a number of large apartment blocks across the city that are rented out as serviced apartments. With there being a good number of options, it means that the prices for Liverpool serviced apartments are very good compared to Liverpool hotels and accommodation options elsewhere. So why not get in touch with Serviced City Pads who provide a wealth of serviced apartments in Liverpool and let them do all the work when you’re looking for your Liverpool accommodation.

Find out about Guy Fawkes and Stay in a London Serviced Apartment

Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011

Guy Fawkes also know as Guido Fawkes is very famous in the history of London and also throughout the UK. Serviced City Pads supply London Serviced Apartments which can be from one night through to many years if you are working on a corporate project. You can contact Serviced City Pads reservations team on 0844 335 8866.

London Serviced Apartments have become very popular over recent years as a great alternative to London Hotels, I suspect for the following reasons. London Serviced Apartments have more than fifty percent more space than a hotel rooms, you have in additional to hotels a kitchen and more importantly you have a lounge, these two factors give the absolute feeling of a home away from home where you can purchase food from a local supermarket and cook meals in the privacy of you own apartment. There is also another reason, London Serviced Apartments can also work out nearly thirty percent cheaper than London Hotels particularly in this period of recession it’s a great opportunity for leisure and corporate guests to save money on accommodation.Guy Fawkes was born in England in 1570 and was a Catholic, later in his life he moved to Spain and changed his name to Guido Fawkes when he fought in the eighty year spanish civil war on the side of the catholics versus the dutch protestants. Guy Fawkes then returned to England to start a civil war so that the catholics can overturn the protestant King James 1st. Guy met a chap named as Thomas Wintour who introduced him to Robert Gatsby and they went on to the founders of the famous ‘Gunpowder Plot.

London Serviced Apartments have become very popular within the business community particularly for long stay guests who are working on projects, the main reason for this is that the employees are very content in their accommodation and this shows in their project work. Also many members of procurement teams look at London Serviced Apartments for a way to reduce the budget costs on projects. Guy Fawkes and his group purchased land underneath the Houses of Parliament in the year of 1604 with the focus to overthrow the government and the current King to convert the country into a strong catholic power. The group was led by Robert Gatsby however a very strong contributor to this group was Guy Fawkes who was a very robust strong man however had great intelligence and focus, both elements made him a made to be taken as a potential leader. Throughout the UK people celebrate the capture and death of Guy Fawkes every year on Novemeber fifth and call it Bomfire Night, as Guy Fawkes if not capture would have blown up the Houses on Parliament on this dates killing everyone in current power in England.

The Whole Lotta Led experience is a cut above most tribute bands – the band have been given the seal of approval by guitar god Jimmy Page. Begun as a hobby, the band turned professional in 2001 due to the success of their live shows. They now regularly play around 100 shows a year, with sets that can last as long as two and a half hours. For those of us who have not been fortunate enough to see Zeppelin live, the show will be a great opportunity to see some absolute rock classics performed with the care and passion that they deserve. The band do not go in for any of the wigs and costumes that most tribute bands go in for as they try to look like their heroes – for Whole Lotta Led it is all about the music, and giving the best performances possible. If you want to see songs like “”Whole Lotta Love”, “Stairway to Heaven” and “Kashmir” live then you should definitely buy a ticket to see Whole Lotta Led live.

Serviced apartments available in Liverpool for Everton FC home games

Monday, October 31st, 2011

Serviced apartments in Liverpool are becoming more and more popular with visitors to the city, whether you are coming to see an Everton home game or for any other reason. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool that could accommodate you for any visit to the city. To see the variety of serviced apartments available in Liverpool just visit the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website – you can do so by clicking here.

Serviced apartments are available in Liverpool for anyone visiting to see Everton FC play at home. These are difficult times for Everton – the club’s finances are in the spotlight like never before. City neighbours Liverpool have managed to jettison Hicks and Gillett, who reportedly took the club perilously close to going into administration during their tenure at Anfield, and gained new owners who seem to have ambition and money to spend. Now the blue half of Merseyside is drawing attention from the football world. The club and its fans are becoming increasingly concerned at the level of debt at Everton and despite the fact that owner Bill Kenwright has been trying to find a buyer it seems that none is forthcoming. There is increasing tension between Kenwright and certain sections of the Everton fanbase due to the leaking of a transcript of a meeting between Kenwright and members of supporters groups. There was recently a protest march by disaffected fans before a home game as they are upset that the club appears to be downscaling its ambitions in response to the situation. The sale of Spanish talisman Mikel Arteta to Arsenal and Jermaine Beckford to Leicester are a clear example of the fans’ concerns. The main players brought in have been loan signings in Drenthe and Straqualursi. Coming off a transfer window when the likes of Stoke and Sunderland have been able to splash the cash this is a worrying time for Everton fans. However, though the picture seems gloomy, Evertonians can take hope from the man in the dugout – in David Moyes they have one of the best managers around. He has managed to build a competitive squad on a much lower budget than his competitors yet season after season he has managed to keep Everton pushing for a European place. Moyes’ Everton teams have always been determined and organised and very hard to beat and despite the off field problems you wouldn’t bet against Moyes pulling another top 6 finish out the bag, and that is a testament to his quality as a manager.

If you will be coming to see Everton this season perhaps you have looked at serviced apartments for your visit? Here at Serviced City Pads we have a variety of serviced apartments across Liverpool available through our apartment operators. Serviced apartments are a home away from home, offering much more space and comfort than the typical hotel room. There are serviced apartments in Liverpool that are suitable for lone travellers and couples and ones that can accommodate families and groups. You can see the options available by visiting the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

To find out more about serviced apartments in Liverpool contact us here at Serviced City Pads and we will be happy to find the best options for you. Serviced apartments in Liverpool for LFC home games

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Serviced apartments in Liverpool are an increasingly popular option for visitors to the city. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a wide range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool that can be viewed by looking at the Liverpool city page on our website.

Serviced apartments are always in high demand in Liverpool any time there is a Liverpool FC home game at Anfield. This is a hugely important season for the Redmen as they are looking to regain their place amongst the European elite by qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. It will not be an easy task given the competition for the top four places; it used to be that there was a “top four” of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool, but now there is arguably a “top six” of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester City. The competition for the title this year looks like being a heavyweight contest between United and City (with Chelsea perhaps able to get in amongst it), which means that the fight for fourth is a battle between Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool. Not only will these three teams be aiming to reach the Champions League, they will probably also be dreading the terrible fate of Europa League qualification. It used to be that UEFA’s second competition was great fun – any Liverpool fan will fondly recall the 2001 UEFA Cup triumph. There is something wonderful about a simple two-legged knock out tournament, but unfortunately this great format has been replaced by a league format that results in matches that many football fans struggle to care about. The UEFA Cup used to hark back to the old days of the European Cup and the excitement of knock-out cup football; now it has been reduced to the Champions League’s ugly sibling. Liverpool were fortunate enough to miss out on Europa League qualification last season, and they will be hoping that they can qualify for the Champions League this season. However, this will not be easy given that Tottenham have gotten off to a flying start this season, and Arsenal seem to slowly but surely be putting their nightmare start behind them. To claim fourth, Liverpool need to be grabbing maximum points between now and the end of the season; too many games have seen the Reds fail to get maximum points despite performing well – the most recent example being Saturday’s match with Norwich. Kenny’s men should have been out of sight by half-time, but instead claimed only a point. There’s still a long way to go, but Liverpool will need to start getting the points they need to ensure that they can regain their place at the top tier of European football.

Serviced apartments are available in Liverpool for anyone travelling to see Liverpool FC play at home. Serviced apartments are a great alternative to the traditional hotel option, as they can offer a home away from home at competitive prices. To see the options that may be available in Liverpool, just visit the Liverpool city page on our website.

If you are interested in serviced apartments in Liverpool then contact us at Serviced City Pads. You can submit your enquiry through the website, or you can speak to our reservations team on 0844 335 8866.
