Novana are a leading UK tribute band to Nirvana, and they will be bringing the music of the grunge titans to life in venues across the UK early next year. They will be playing the O2 Academy in Liverpool on the 14th January 2012. If you were not fortunate enough to catch the real Nirvana in the flesh, then this Novana show should give you an idea of what it would have been like – the band work hard to recreate the look and sound of a Nirvana show. Nirvana were one of the biggest and most influential bands of the 90s; the quiet-loud dynamic of their music and the cryptic and confessional nature of frontman Kurt Cobain’s lyrics influenced a whole generation of musicians. The band brought an alternative sound into the mainstream to the point where it is impossible to imagine rock music without Nirvana. Cobain always said that he was kicking against the hair-metal of the likes of Motley Crue and company and with the smash hit album “Nevermind” it seems that his mission was successful. Nirvana were part of a wave of bands who brought alternative sounds into the mainstream; thanks to them many underground bands like The Pixies and Big Black received the kind of attention they deserved. If you will be coming to Liverpool to see Novana then you are in for a treat, as the band will be performing Nirvana’s greatest songs and it should be a very enjoyable night for any fans of the band.

If you will be visiting Liverpool to see Novana, the UK’s leading Nirvana tribute band, you should look at serviced apartments for accommodation. Serviced apartments are a great alternative to hotel rooms as they can offer much more space and comfort than the typical hotel room. The usual serviced apartment has a living and dining area and a kitchen where meals can be prepared. Serviced apartments are ideal for anyone looking for a home away from home. Whether you are travelling alone or with family or friends, there will be a serviced apartment to suit you. On the Serviced City Pads website there is a wide range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool. Serviced apartments still available in Liverpool for Wretch 32 at the O2 Academy

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

Serviced apartments are still available in Liverpool for the night Wretch 32 plays the O2 Academy. Serviced apartments are an increasingly popular choice for those travelling around the UK, and if you will be coming to Liverpool to see Wretch 32, serviced apartments could be the ideal accommodation. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a range of serviced apartments in Liverpool that can be seen by visiting the Liverpool city page on our website.

Wretch 32 will be playing the Liverpool O2 Academy on the 20th October 2011 and there are still serviced apartments available for that night. Wretch 32 is the stage name of rapper Jermaine Scott, a new star of the UK music scene. Wretch 32 announced his arrival with his debut single “Traktor” which reached number 5 in the UK singles chart. The track is propelled forward by an incredibly catchy beat and sees the Wretch accompanied by the singer known only as L on the infectious chorus. The single was mainly released in digital format (though there was a limited vinyl release and apparently a CD, whatever that is…) and featured no less than 8 versions of the song. Wretch 32’s next song was similarly brilliant, particularly if you are a fan of the Stone Roses as the song is pretty much built around a looped sample of the mercurial Mancunians’ classic “Fool’s Gold”. The number 2 single “Unorthodox” featured the vocal stylings of fellow rapper Example and has lyrics about standing out from the crowd, being an individual, not playing by anyone else’s rules, etc. The video reinforces this powerful message, with some people dancing in unorthodox ways, a tattoo artist, and some people with, you know, piercings and stuff. Did I mention that they ride bikes? – they do, they literally ride bikes in the video – see it! Wretch 32’s most recent single, “Don’t Go” gave him his first number 1. It features the singer Josh Kumra, and is a heartfelt love song that has truly cemented Mr 32’s place in the mainstream. This success has led to his second album “Black and White” doing very well in the album charts, peaking at number 4 but continuing to sell. It will be interesting to see what 32 does next – anyone who will be attending his live shows should be able to hear some new material, as well as enjoying the hits that have established Wretch 32 as one of the most exciting artists around.

If you are coming to Liverpool to see Wretch 32 at the O2 Academy, have you considered serviced apartments for accommodation? Serviced apartments are the ever more popular choice for visitors to Liverpool as they can offer a home away from home. The typical serviced apartment has a lounge and dining area as well as a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. There are serviced apartments that are ideal for people travelling alone, couples, or even for families and large groups. To see the variety of options available to you, visit the Serviced City Pads website and take a look at the Liverpool city page.

If you will be visiting Liverpool this year, either to see Wretch 32 or for any other reason, why not stay in a serviced apartment? Serviced apartments available in Liverpool for Tinchy Stryder at the O2 Academy

Friday, September 30th, 2011

Tinchy Stryder will be playing the O2 Academy in Liverpool this November and serviced apartments are still available for that night. Serviced apartments are an increasingly popular choice for visitors to Liverpool over the traditional hotel room. To see the range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool click here to be taken to the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

Tinchy Stryder will be playing the O2 Academy in Liverpool on 9th November 2011, and serviced apartments are still available for anyone travelling to see the show. Tinchy Stryder has established himself as one of biggest stars in British rap and hip-hop; he is part of a wave of artists like Tinie Tempah and N-Dubz who have gained mainstream recognition and chart success. He will be playing the O2 Academy in Liverpool this November as part of a UK tour to play some new material from his forthcoming fourth album, and will also be performing his past hits. The single from the new album “Spaceship”, which features Dappy from N-Dubz, reached number 5 in the UK singles chart and gained a MOBO nomination. Mr Stryder (real name Kwasi Danquah) will be hoping that his new album can reach the heights of his breakthrough second album “Catch 22” which reached number 2 in the albums chart. This was the album that put Tinchy Stryder on the map, with hit singles “Take Me Back” which charted at number 3, and “Never Leave You” and “Number 1” which both claimed the top spot. The Stryderman’s third album “Third Strike” did not fare as well with the record buying public, only reaching number 48 on the UK album chart and did not spawn any hit singles to match the likes of “Number 1” or “Take Me Back”. The as yet untitled fourth studio album should hopefully see Tinchy bounce back with another hit; the success of the lead single “Spaceship” certainly bodes well. The tour dates will be important for Tinchy as he will no doubt be hoping that his new material will connect with people. The show at the Liverpool O2 Academy should be fantastic as anyone attending will be seeing a talented artist hungry to reclaim his place at the top of the charts.

If you are travelling to Liverpool to see Tinchy Stryder, have you thought about serviced apartments for accommodation? Serviced apartments are a home away from home, with the typical serviced apartment having a kitchen and a living and dining area. Serviced apartments available in Liverpool for One Direction concert at the ECHO Arena

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

One Direction will be coming to Liverpool next year to play the ECHO Arena, and there are still serviced apartments available for anyone travelling to see the band. Serviced apartments are a great alternative to the usual hotel option, as they can offer a home away from home for the discerning traveller. Visit the Serviced City Pads website to see what serviced apartments are available in Liverpool.

One Direction will be playing the Liverpool ECHO Arena next January and serviced apartments are available to accommodate any fans coming to Liverpool for the night. The One Direction concert will take place on the 15th January 2012, and it should be a huge event for all pop fans. The tickets are due to go on sale this Saturday 1st October 2011 – if you want to see the One Direction boys you had better move quickly as demand will be high. The boys rocketed to fame in television’s “X Factor”, and having had a number 1 hit with “What Makes You Beautiful” and their debut album on the horizon, next year should be an exciting time for the group. One Direction were brought together by the X Factor judges and put into the group category after coming to the competition as solo artists. Though put together at boot camp the boys – Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson – soon clicked as a group and progressed on to the live finals. With Simon Cowell as their mentor, the One Direction boys stormed through the competition making the final itself. Though they lost out to Rebecca and eventual winner Matt, the group had built a massive fanbase which seems to have stayed with them after the competition finished. Despite not winning, the group ended up signing for SyCo, Simon Cowell’s entertainment company. With two successful books and commercial endorsements with Nokia and Pokemon, the future looks very bright indeed for the latest X Factor success story – will they have the kind of success that fellow X Factor runners up JLS are currently enjoying? You certainly wouldn’t bet against it.

If you are lucky enough to get tickets for the One Direction concert at the ECHO Arena next January and will need to stay in Liverpool for that night, then serviced apartments are an option for accommodation. More and more people are turning to serviced apartments as they can offer more space and freedom than the typical hotel room. Serviced apartments have a lounge and dining area, and a fully fitted kitchen where you can prepare your own meals; this makes them ideal for anything from lone travellers or couples to families and groups of friends. Serviced apartments available in Liverpool for Bryan Adams concert

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

Serviced apartments are still available in Liverpool for the night of Bryan Adams’ concert at the Liverpool ECHO Arena. If you are a Bryan Adams fan travelling to Liverpool to see the show, have you considered serviced apartments for accommodation? Here at Serviced City Pads we have a range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool that can be viewed by visiting the Liverpool city page on our website.

Bryan Adams will be playing Liverpool this November as part of a tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his “Waking Up the Neighbours” and there are still serviced apartments available in Liverpool for that night. Bryan Adams will be playing Liverpool’s ECHO Arena on the night of 28th November 2011 as part of a tour of the UK’s arenas. Bryan’s 1991 album “Waking Up the Neighbours” was a massive hit, reaching number 1 in the albums charts in the UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. The album only reached number 6 in the United States, but made up for this by going four times platinum, selling over 4,000,000 copies. Bryan Adams’ show at the ECHO Arena should be a real treat for his UK fans, of which there are more than a few given that as well as reaching the top spot, the album went triple platinum here, selling over 900,000 copies. Anyone lucky enough to have a ticket will get to see Bryan performing some of the hits from the album, including “Can’t Stop This Thing We Started” and the absolutely epic “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”. The song, featured on the classic Kevin Costner film “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”, was one of the biggest hits of the 1990s. In the UK the song spent 16 weeks at number 1, and it also reached the top spot in 17 countries. The song has won a permanent place in popular culture – this blogger’s favourite example would have to be Will Arnett’s tender rendition to on-screen brother Jason Bateman in the criminally underappreciated television series “Arrested Development”. However, there’s a lot more to Bryan Adams than just one album or one or two songs – his career has lasted for decades, and he is one of the most successful musicians of all time. The Billboard Hot 100 50th Anniversary Charts ranked Adams as 38th on a list of All-Time top artists in 2008, and he has won countless awards for his songs, including two Ivor Novellos. He has also, quite rightly, been acknowledged for his contribution to film scores with three Academy Award nominations to his name. Anyone fortunate enough to see Bryan Adams in Liverpool this November should have a night to remember.

If you will be travelling to Liverpool to see Bryan Adams perform at the ECHO Arena, why not look at serviced apartments for your visit? On the Serviced City Pads website you can see the range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool by visiting the Liverpool city page. There are apartments that are ideal for one or two people, as well as larger apartments that can accommodate families or groups of friends. The typical serviced apartment has a lounge and dining area and a fully fitted kitchen, providing the perfect place to relax. It’s not hard to understand why serviced apartments are becoming a much more popular option with people travelling around the UK.

If you are interested in serviced apartments for your Liverpool visit, then contact us here at Serviced City Pads. You can call 0844-335-8866 to talk to our reservations team, or you can submit an enquiry through our website.

Serviced apartments in Liverpool for Duran Duran at the ECHO Arena

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

Serviced apartments are still available in Liverpool for the visit of Duran Duran this December. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a variety of serviced apartments available in Liverpool that can provide accommodation for anyone travelling to see the show. To see the options available visit the Liverpool city page on our website by clicking here.

Duran Duran will be playing the Liverpool ECHO Arena on 10th December as part of their UK tour and serviced apartments are available for that night. The “All You Need is Now” tour will be coming to the UK in December, and all the fans of Duran Duran will be pleased to see it. The tour was initially going to be in May, but had to be postponed due to frontman Simon LeBon’s vocal problems. However, come December LeBon and his bandmates should be in rude health and ready to rock arenas across the UK. Duran Duran were formed in 1978, and became one of the biggest bands in the world in the 80’s. When they play the ECHO Arena, the band should be performing their greatest hits like “Rio”, “Save a Prayer”, and “The Reflex”. The making of the band was the 1982 album “Rio” which was a worldwide success; it did particularly well in America where the band was part of a wave of British performers making inroads. One of the key aspects of Duran Duran is their image – the band has always been very careful in how they are presented. They have always been snappy dressers – People magazine labelled the band “the prettiest boys in rock” – and they worked with fashion designers to ensure they looked elegant and stylish. This same attention to detail was applied to their music videos – the band was one of the first to use proper movie cameras for their videos, making them stand out from the crowd. Reunited in the early 2000s, the band still know how to make an impression and are as stylish as ever, and fans coming to Liverpool to attend the ECHO Arena show are in for a polished and stylish show.

If you will be coming to Liverpool to see Duran Duran, perhaps you are interested in serviced apartments for accommodation? Serviced apartments offer a home away from home and are a great place to relax in. The typical apartment has a living and dining area, and a kitchen, as well as the usual bedroom and bathroom. There are apartments to suit couples or lone travellers, as well as those that can accommodate friends or families. To see the options available, take a look at the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

Serviced Apartments available for JLS concert at the Liverpool ECHO Arena

Monday, September 5th, 2011

Serviced apartments are still available for the night of the JLS concert at Liverpool’s ECHO Arena. Serviced apartments are a popular choice for people travelling to Liverpool as they provide much more comfort and space, and they would be an ideal choice for anyone visiting the city to see JLS perform.

Serviced apartments are available in Liverpool for next March, when JLS will be embarking on their second arena tour. The 4th Dimension Tour will see JLS headlining arenas across the UK to promote their third album which is due to be released this November, with them playing Liverpool on the 15th March 2012. The JLS boys’ third album should continue the success of recent years. The recently released lead single, “She Makes Me Wanna”, hit the number 1 spot and demonstrates that the band is as popular as ever. The band first came to everyone’s attention on the hit show “X Factor”, where they auditioned as UFO (Unique Famous Outrageous). They had to change their name, as it was already being used by another artist, so JLS (Jack the Lad Swing or Just Lads Singing depending who you believe) was born. JLS got rave reviews from the judges throughout the competition and had strong public support, reaching the final show. They came second to Alexandra Burke, but they have definitely been winners in the long term as their chart success has demonstrated. Their debut album, “JLS”, rocketed to the number 1 spot on the album chart and produced three hit singles with “Beat Again”, “Everybody in Love”, and “One Shot”. A mark of just how big an impact the band made is the fact that they beat Robbie Williams’ album “Reality Killed the Video Star” to the top spot. The second album, 2010’s “Outta This World”, had to settle for the number 2 spot, but it has sold over 500,000 copies. The album spawned more hits, including “The Club is Alive” and “Eyes Wide Shut” as well as the Children In Need charity single “Love You More”. The new album should continue the JLS success story, and the arena tour will give their fans the opportunity to see the band perform live in what should be an amazing stage show – the band is known for combining great vocals with even better stage moves. Anyone going to see JLS perform in Liverpool next year should be in for an unforgettable night.

Serviced City Pads has a range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool for anyone travelling to see JLS. Serviced apartments are an increasingly popular choice as they offer much more space and freedom than the traditional hotel room.
