Serviced apartments available in Manchester for Example’s concert at the MEN Arena next April

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

Manchester serviced apartments are still available in Manchester for the Example concert at the MEN Arena next April. Example is now one of the biggest names in dance/pop music after a string of hit singles in the last couple of years, and he should definitely draw a crowd at the MEN. If you will be travelling to Manchester for the show it is worth taking a look at serviced apartments for accommodation instead of taking the usual hotel route. Serviced apartments in Manchester are competitive with hotels in terms of price, and they are able to offer much more space and comfort as well. The typical serviced apartment has a lounge area which is the perfect place for guests to relax in compared to the usual confines of a hotel room. Also, the vast majority of serviced apartments have a kitchen and dining area, meaning that you can prepare and enjoy your own meals in the comfort of your apartment. If you will require accommodation on the night that Example plays the MEN Arena, serviced apartments are the perfect choice.

Example is undisputably one of the most successful acts around at the moment and he will be playing the MEN Arena on the 28th April 2012. Example (real name Elliot Gleave, initials E.G. – see what he did there?) released his first album “What We Made” in 2007, but it wasn’t until his 2010 album “Won’t Go Quietly” that he really came to prominence. He had two top 10 hits with “Kickstarts” and “Won’t Go Quietly” (the single) that really put him on the map. The next album “Playing in the Shadows” confirmed that Example is here to stay, claiming the number 1 spot in the albums chart. There was also a number 1 single with “Changed the Way You Kiss Me” which sold more than 115,000 copies in its first week and held the top spot for 2 weeks. With a fourth studio album to follow, perhaps by the end of 2012, the future looks very good for Example. If you have the chance to see him live in Manchester next year, then you should be seeing an artist at the top of his game.

If you would like to find out more about Manchester apartments for next April, then why not contact us here at Serviced City Pads? You can call our reservations team on 0844 335 8866 or you can submit your enquiry through the website and we will respond as soon as possible.

Serviced apartments available in Manchester for Cher Lloyd concert

Thursday, November 24th, 2011

Apartments in Manchester are still available for next April when Cher Lloyd will be playing the Manchester Academy. Serviced apartments are becoming more and more people’s first choice for accommodation when visiting Manchester, as they offer much more space than the typical hotel room. A serviced apartment will have the bedroom and bathroom, but then the vast majority also have a kitchen and a living and dining area. If you will be in Manchester for Cher Lloyd’s concert at the Manchester Academy, a Manchester serviced apartment could be the ideal place to stay.

Cher Lloyd will be performing at the Manchester Academy on the 6th April 2012 as one of the dates on her UK tour to promote her debut album “Sticks + Stones”. Lloyd was one of the standout contestants on last year’s X Factor, very much dividing opinion among the viewing public. She won over the judges at the audition stage with a performance of Keri Hilson’s “Turn My Swag On”, and got through boot camp to judges’ houses where she was mentored by Cheryl Cole. Despite suffering from a throat infection that meant she couldn’t finish her chosen song, Cheryl surprised everyone by putting Lloyd through as one of her girls. She breezed through the competition for the most part, and was a big hit with the judges. However, Lloyd had a difficult time later on in the competition, being put in the bottom two of the public vote in week 7, though she was saved by the judges. She got through to the semi-final, and then the final itself, where she was eliminated in fourth place. However, though she didn’t win the competition, Lloyd seems to have done very well out of The X Factor. After the show, she was signed to Syco Music, and has released her debut album earlier this month. If the success of the two singles “Swagger Jagger” and “With Ur Love” are anything to go by, then Cher Lloyd should be around for a while yet.

If you will be coming to Manchester to see Cher Lloyd next April, have you looked at Manchester apartments for your visit? Serviced apartments are a great choice for anyone visiting the city, and here at Serviced City Pads we have a wide range of serviced apartments available across the city. If you would like to find out more about Manchester apartments, why not get in touch with our reservations team and see what we can find for you. Serviced apartments in Manchester for Florence and the Machine

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

Manchester apartments are still available for anyone travelling to see Florence and the Machine at the MEN Arena. Apartments in Manchester are an ideal option for anyone looking to stay in the city, as they can offer a home away from home.

Florence and the Machine will be playing the MEN Arena on Thursday 15th March 2012, and tickets are now on sale. Florence and the Machine (sometimes written as Florence + the Machine) is the recording name for Florence Welch, a singer and songwriter who has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting new talents in pop. She first burst on to the scene with her debut album “Lungs” in 2009 which was widely hailed by the critics. Before this however, the music industry was well aware of Florence’s talent. She was supported by BBC Introducing, an initiative to promote new talent and she also won the Critic’s Choice award at the 2009 BRIT Awards. The release of her debut album confirmed that Florence and the Machine is one to watch. “Lungs” would go on to reach the number 1 spot in the album chart and has gone 4 times platinum in the UK. The album launched some big hit singles, including “Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)”, “Drumming Song”, “Dog Days Are Over”, and “You’ve Got the Love”. As well as continued chart success, Florence and the Machine hit the road and built a large following with some great live performances.

The 2010 BRIT Awards continued the rise of Florence and the Machine; she stole the show performing a mash-up (remember them?) with Dizzee Rascal entitled “You Got the Dirtee Love”, and “Lungs” claimed the Best British Album award. After this, everyone was waiting to see what Florence and the Machine would do next, and were eagerly anticipating her second album. The new album “Ceremonials” was released in October 2011 and demonstrates that Florence and the Machine are in it for the long haul – many critics are claiming that this album is even stronger than the debut that impressed so much. “Ceremonials” went in at number 1 on the album chart, and demonstrates that there is an audience for them. The single “Shake It Out” let everyone know that Florence and the Machine were back and better than ever, showcasing an epic sweep but retaining the kind of pop hooks that the fans love. Florence and the Machine will be touring the UK next year to promote the new album, and there is sure to be high demand for tickets.

If you will be coming to Manchester next year to see Florence and the Machine, have you considered staying in a Manchester serviced apartment? Apartments in Manchester are an increasingly popular choice for visitors to the city as they can offer space and comfort at affordable prices. If you want to find out more about Manchester apartments, then why not send us your enquiry through our website, or call us on 0844 335 8866 to speak to a member of our reservations team.

Snow Patrol are one of the most popular bands around, having sold over 11 million albums worldwide, and they will be touring the UK next year to promote their sixth studio album “Fallen Empires”. Success did not come instantly to Gary Lightbody and his merry men – though the band formed in 1994, the first serious commercial success did not arrive until 2003’s hit album “Final Straw”. The band had signed to Polydor in 2002, having been dropped by their previous label. It was a difficult time for the band, but during this period they put together the songs for “Final Straw” that made them an internationally successful band. The big single was the song “Run” which was a hit that put Snow Patrol firmly on the map. “Final Straw” went on to sell over 3 million copies worldwide and through extensive touring the band developed a large fanbase. The follow-up album, 2006’s “Eyes Open” was an even bigger success for the group – it sold over 6 million copies worldwide. It spawned the singles “Set the Fire to the Third Bar” (featuring Martha Wainwright), “You’re All I Have”, and “Chasing Cars” which was an absolutely huge hit. The band released their fifth studio album “A Hundred Million Suns” in 2008, and this year will see “Fallen Empires” released, as Snow Patrol continue to sell out arenas worldwide.

If you will be coming to Manchester to see Snow Patrol at the MEN Arena, have you considered serviced apartments as accommodation? Serviced apartments are the increasingly popular alternative to the traditional hotel room. Serviced apartments can offer much more space and comfort, with the typical serviced apartment having a living and dining area and a kitchen. Get your Manchester accommodation when going to see John Bishop

Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

For those looking for Manchester accommodation close to the MEN then why not try booking a serviced apartment for your stay. With John Bishop coming to Manchester very soon in September 2012, you have just under a year to get your tickets and book your Manchester accommodation! Quick, hurry, time is running out!

John Bishop is quite a late developer in the world of comedy. He didn’t start performing stand up till he was 34 and it took him a good 7 or 8 years to start becoming mainstream with several tv comedt appearances such as 8 out of 10 cats, Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You & Would I Lie to You. In 2009, he appeared as the first act on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow in Manchester which shot him to international stardom and it is Manchester again where he shalt return victorious to tickle your taste buds again.

John Bishop is of course from Liverpool, the greatest city in the Northwest. He grew up initially in Huyton but then his family moved to Runcorn at an early age. It’s a little known fact the Bishop had a career as a semi-professional footballer. He played at a level just below League Football turning out for Southport, Hyde United and Winsford United averaging close to 1 goal in 5 games from midfield. He won the Liverpool Senior Cup during his playing days at Southport beating Liverpool at Goodison Park. He is also an avid Liverpool FC fan and played a big part of the deposition of Hicks & Gillet the previous owners of the Anfield outfit. Bishop also turned out as a substitute for the Liverpool Legends in the Hillsborough Memorial Game at Anfield on 14th May 2007.

For those looking to stay over and book Manchester accommodation, there are plenty of options to choose from in the city. One accommodation type that you may not be aware of is serviced apartments which are a great alternative to hotels in Manchester. You get the use of a whole apartment which means you get a separate bedroom, bathroom and living/kitchen areas. This means you can cook and prepare your own meals all the luxury of a serviced apartment. With hordes of Liverpudlians likely to be heading over to Manchester to see the Bish, what better idea than to book a Manchester serviced apartment for your stay?

Serviced apartments available in Manchester for NKOTBSB

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

Acronym lovers rejoice, for the NKOTBSB world tour will be coming to Manchester next year and if you will be travelling to the city to see one of the most important events in human history, there are still serviced apartments available in Manchester to provide accommodation for you. Here at Serviced City Pads we provide leisure and corporate accommodation for visitors to Manchester and we have a wide range of serviced apartments available across the city. You can see the kinds of apartments available by visiting the Manchester city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

If you are coming to Manchester to see the NKOTBSB show, there are serviced apartments that could be the ideal accommodation for you. NKOTBSB will be playing the MEN Arena on the 24th April 2012. For those fools who lack knowledge, NKOTBSB stands for New Kids On The Block & BackStreet Boys (I know, there should be an extra “B”, and arguably a “&” as well – it really should be NKOTB&BSB – but this is pop music, people, okay?). That’s right folks, two of the most culturally significant groups of the last century together on one tour; this is basically the 90s mall-pop equivalent of The Beatles and the Rolling Stones sharing a bill. The New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) formed in 1984 in Boston and sold millions of records before disbanding in 1994. However, they reunited in 2008 and now Donnie, Danny, Joey, Jordan and Jonathan are ready to rock audiences around the world with hits like “Be My Girl”, “Stop It Girl”, and “Cover Girl”. The NKOTB would be enough, but lucky audiences will also see BSB – the Backstreet Boys. The BSBs were formed in Orlando, Florida, and from 1993 they have charmed audiences worldwide with their incredibly catchy songs and dance routines. However, the group did go through a difficult time between 2001 – 2003, where they went on hiatus and there were conflicts between the band members. However, thanks to Oprah Winfrey (no really, an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show in November 2003 to show their support for band member A.J. McLean who had struggled to overcome problems with drug and alcohol addiction led to a rapprochement between the estranged band members) the band have been together again since then touring and releasing albums. Sadly, one of the group’s original members, Kevin Richardson, left the group in 2006, so the group is no longer all five of the boys; however, the rest of the group (Brian, Nick, A.J. and Howie) have decided to soldier on as a four-piece. Those coming to Manchester should see the boys perform some of their greatest songs such as “I’ll Never Break Your Heart”, “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” and “Shape of My Heart”.

If you will be travelling to Manchester to see the NKOTBSB show, then serviced apartments could be the ideal accommodation for you. Serviced apartments are becoming more and more popular with both leisure and corporate visitors to Manchester as they can offer much more space and comfort than the traditional hotel room. The typical serviced apartment has a kitchen and dining area, as well as a living area, which makes them the perfect place to prepare and enjoy your own meals and to relax while you are in town. There are serviced apartments to suit everyone from studio and one bedroom apartments up to two or three bedroom apartments. To see the range of options available, visit the Manchester city page on the Serviced City Pads website by clicking here.

If you will need accommodation for a visit to Manchester, either to see NKOTBSB or for any other reason, then contact us at Serviced City Pads and we will help you find the best options available. Serviced apartments available in Manchester for Matt Cardle in concert

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

Serviced apartments are available in Manchester for Matt Cardle’s concert at the Apollo. If you will be looking to stay in Manchester that night then serviced apartments are an ideal choice for accommodation. They can offer far more comfort and space than the traditional hotel room, and for this reason Manchester serviced apartments have become increasingly popular with visitors to the city. Matt Cardle will be performing in Manchester next year as part of his UK tour to promote his new album “Letters” and serviced apartments are available for anyone travelling to see him perform live. Matt Cardle will be playing the Manchester Apollo on the 22nd March 2012, and it is sure to be a big night for all his fans. Matt Cardle won last year’s X Factor and it has to be said that his victory was no real surprise as he was the stand out contestant that year. He wowed the judges in the auditions with his version of “You Know I’m No Good”. Despite the fact he didn’t look like a star, shuffling shyly onstage with his initially omnipresent cap, Cardle’s voice wowed the judges and he was put through to boot camp. At boot camp it became clear that Cardle was going to be a major contender with his beautiful rendition of “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”; frankly, after that performance they could have called off the rest of the competition and made him the winner on the spot. Picked by judge Dannii Minogue to be one of her Boys at judges houses, once the live shows began it soon became clear that Matt Cardle was just as big a hit with the British public as he had been with the judges. He breezed through to the X Factor final, having never been in the bottom two, and eventually beat Rebecca Ferguson to in the public vote to become the X Factor winner. Cardle’s winner’s song, his cover of Biffy Clyro’s “When We Collide”, rocketed to number 1 on the singles chart where it stayed for three consecutive weeks. His debut album “Letters” was released this October and went in at number 2 on the albums chart. Now that his UK tour is announced and dates are set, his fans will be excited to have a chance to see Matt Cardle live as he performs all across the UK.

If you will be coming to Manchester to see Matt Cardle live, have you considered serviced apartments as accommodation for your stay? Serviced apartments are becoming more and more people’s first choice when visiting Manchester as they can offer a home away from home. The typical apartment has a living and dining area and a kitchen, giving the guest a place where they can really relax. Serviced apartments in Manchester for football fans

Wednesday, October 26th, 2011

Here at Serviced City Pads we have a wide range of Manchester serviced apartments that can accommodate anyone travelling to the city to see either United or City play. Serviced apartments are growing more and more popular with visitors to Manchester as they can offer much more space and comfort than the traditional hotel room. To see the different kinds of serviced apartments available in Manchester visit the Manchester city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

This season’s Premier League is shaping up as a battle between Manchester United and Manchester City for the title. Manchester United began the season as the favourites, as they have done for many seasons since the Premier League’s foundation. The Red Devils won a record 19th league title last season, eclipsing Liverpool’s record of 18, and with a comeback win against City in the charity shield all the signs pointed to continued United dominance in this year’s league season. The pundits were quick to point out the injection of youth into the squad with the acquisition of Phil Jones, Ashley Young, and David de Gea, as well as a coming of age for United academy products Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley, and it was argued that United would be unstoppable this season. However, as the season has progressed it has become clear that City have significantly closed the gap on their rivals, and with the signings of Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy along with the continued development of Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko (not to mention the peerless David Silva), they are now looking like serious title contenders. The first derby of the season at Old Trafford was billed as a title decider (in October…) and it was expected to be a toe to toe slugfest between two titans. What emerged instead was arguably the most embarrassingly one-sided contests of the season (yes, even more than Arsenal versus United – at least the Gunners had the excuse of fielding a massively understrength and inexperienced team due to injuries and suspensions) as Fergie’s boys were hammered 6 – 1. As the goals mounted up it became clear that we could be seeing a defining moment in the history of both clubs – could this season see City become the dominant Manchester superpower, eclipsing their rivals? Well, before we get carried away this was just one match and there is a whole lot of football to be played between now and the end of the season. The one thing that can be guaranteed is that for Manchester football fans this season will be even more exciting than usual.

If you will be coming to Manchester for any United or City matches, or for anything else, you should consider serviced apartments for your stay. To find out more about serviced apartments and to see what options are available to you, please contact us here at Serviced City Pads. You can call us on 0844-335-8866 to discuss your requirements with our reservations team, or you can simply send your enquiry to us via the Serviced City Pads website and we will send out the best options to you.

Serviced apartments in Manchester for Panic at the Disco

Monday, October 24th, 2011

Serviced apartments are still available in Manchester for Panic at the Disco in January next year. The Panic boys will be playing the Manchester Apollo next month, and serviced apartments are still available for any fans travelling to see the group perform. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a wide range of serviced apartments available that can be seen on our website.

Panic at the Disco will be performing at the Manchester Apollo on the 27th January and serviced apartments are available for that night. The band will be returning to the UK to promote their third studio album, “Vices & Virtues”. Panic! at the Disco formed in Las Vegas and made their first demos whilst the four members were still in high school. Their first album, 2005’s “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out”, was a huge commercial success both in the US and the UK. The band arrived at the perfect time to take their place as part of the so called “emo” movement along with bands like Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. The group had a massive hit with the single “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies” which charted highly everywhere and won the band Video of the Year at the 2006 MTV VMA Awards. Buoyed by the success of the single, the band embarked on a massive tour that took in arenas all over the US and Europe. The band was not always ecstatically received; when performing at the Reading festival, the band were bottled by the crowd. Despite receiving a bottle to the face, lead singer Brendon Urie managed to carry on and the band completed their set. The band released their second studio album “Pretty.Odd.” By this point, the band had ditched the exclamation mark from their name, a move that was both shocking and controversial and shook not just the modern music scene, but indeed the whole of Western civilisation to its very core. The “Pretty.Odd.” album was generally received very well by critics, but it failed to match the commercial success of their debut. There were also trying times for the band as guitarist Ryan Ross left the band and bassist Jon Walker also, appropriately, walked. Panic at the Disco, now a duo, will be performing for their adoring fans at the Manchester Apollo next January. If you have tickets to see the band, it should be an entertaining evening, and a chance to see their new material live.

If you will be travelling to Manchester to see Panic at the Disco, have you considered serviced apartments for accommodation for your visit? Serviced apartments are becoming more and more popular with people travelling around the UK as they can offer more space and comfort than a traditional hotel room. To see the kind of serviced apartments available in Manchester, just visit the Manchester city page on the Serviced City Pads website – you can do so by clicking here.

Serviced apartments in Liverpool for the X Factor at the Echo Arena

Friday, October 21st, 2011

Liverpool serviced apartments are still available for next February when The X Factor live tour will be visiting the ECHO Arena as they travel around the UK. Serviced apartments in Liverpool are a great choice for accommodation for anyone who will be travelling to Liverpool to see The X Factor live concert. Serviced apartments are increasingly popular as they can provide a home away from home for those travelling around the UK. You can see the range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool by visiting the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

The X Factor live tour will be coming to Liverpool on the 27th February 2012 next year, and serviced apartments are available for anyone who would require accommodation for the night. The X Factor is arguably the biggest television show around at the moment – it has consistently drawn in millions of viewers, and contestants on the show (both winners and finalists) have gone on to make their mark in the music industry. The show has spawned massive stars like Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and Matt Cardle all of whom won the show. However, even contestants who don’t claim the crown can still do very well, using the opportunity that the show gives them to establish themselves. Prime examples of this are Olly Murs and JLS who have both been successful thanks to their appearances on The X Factor. Last year’s X Factor tour saw fans across the nation flocking to see their favourites from the show perform live, and next year’s show should be no exception. This year has been as exciting as ever, with a number of strong contenders for The X Factor crown (it’s not literally a crown, just so we’re clear, I’m just using a metaphor). The bookie’s favourite seems to be Janet Devlin, the “Celtic soul singer” (copyright Louis Walsh), but the other girls, Misha B and Sophie Habibis, are also strong contenders. Although some think that the winner is bound to be one of the girls, due to the strength of the Kelly Rowland’s group, only a fool would write off some of the other contestants, for example, the ever-smiling Marcus or The Risk. As always, it should be a tense next few weeks as the finalists are slowly whittled down to one winner.

If you will be travelling to Liverpool to see The X Factor live concert, have you considered serviced apartments as accommodation for your stay? Serviced apartments in Liverpool are an excellent choice for anyone who has become tired of the traditional hotel room. The typical serviced apartment has a living and dining area and a kitchen, and is a perfect place to relax while you stay in Liverpool. To see the variety of serviced apartments available in Liverpool, take a look at the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website – to be taken to the page, just click here.
