Real Life Zombie Games and other events in Liverpool for 2012

There are always interesting things happening in Liverpool. In May, Liverpool was host to 2.8 Hours Later, the live action zombie experience. The project is happening across the UK in cities like Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and London but it came to Liverpool in May and was a great experience for all involved.
Have you ever wondered what it’d be like if your nightmares came to life? For real daredevils, 2.8 Hours Later offered you the opportunity to experience a real life zombie game to get the adrenaline pumping.
The zombie chase game has attracted media attention as one of the most inventive ways to rebrand a game of chase. Ticket holders for 2.8 hours later were chased by ‘zombies’ around cornered off parts of Liverpool city centre. Those who were caught by the 2.8 hours later zombies were given a make-over so they too could be zombies for the rest of the game. This set-up gives those who are caught out the assurance that they will be able to participate for the entirety of the game. It’s also a great chance to scare your friends, or just have a great time and a big old laugh. The game ends in a zombie disco, so you can party the night away after the trauma of being chased by the ‘undead’.

Central Perk in Liverpool – a must for any Friends fan!

There’s hardly anyone who doesn’t love watching old episodes of Friends . The American sitcom captured the hearts of viewers all over the world, and ran for a whopping 10 series! Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Joey are now icons of the 90s and fans often relate to the characters. The series was witty yet at times emotional. The characters were subject to dramatic twists which kept viewers glued to their seats. The Ross and Rachel storyline ran for years, but never got old and viewers will have been happy to learn that in the final episode the couple were finally reunited – for good we hope.
One of the most iconic settings of the sitcom was Central Perk, the coffee house the six friends would visit daily and sit on that huge sofa cracking out the gags. Something any Friends fan will have dreamed of visiting. Well now you can! Central Perk has opened in Liverpool at Hatton Garden. The coffee house looks exactly the same as the iconic Friends set and even has the same menu! It’s been terrifically done, and is a must see for anyone who’s ever seen Friends!
