Liverpool Accommodation when going to see Westlife.

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

For anyone looking to get Liverpool accommodation in May 2012 for the Westlife, be sure to book early to avoid disappointment as people are sure to be flocking from all over the globe to see the boys in action. There are plenty of Liverpool accommodation options to choose from the city, however a wise choice would be serviced apartments, which are part of a growing sector of serviced accommodation that more and more people are choosing.

Westlife need no introduction; however they will get one anyway. Westlife are an Irish boyband constructed by Simon Cowell with the aim of world domination. The group were originally a six-piece but once Cowell got his claws into them he demanded they get rid of at least 3 of them and hire 2 more better looking members. One of the members, Bryan, changed his name from ‘Brian’ as the new spelling would be better to put on autographs. They have released lots of singles and albums and sold millions of copies and made loads of money for Simon Cowell. They’ve broken numerous records in the charts and had many number 1s. They have released 2 greatest hits albums already, one of them after being round for 3 years, the other after 11. They have performed to such immensely famous people as Pope John Paul II, Barak Obama, the Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah and Queen Elizabeth II. Basically they are pretty darned massive.

Westlife will be travelling to Liverpool in spring 2012 to perform as a part of their Greatest Hits Tour. They will be arriving into the city on May 15th 2012 and are playing at the Echo Arena, Liverpool’s premier music venue. They have recently announced that they will be splitting after this Christmas’s Greatest Hits Album and the Farewell Tour later in 2012, so as to maximise the value of the concerts. The Echo Arena has seen many big acts play over the few years it’s been open, so Westlife don’t need to feel to down that they have to go to Liverpool.

For those looking for Liverpool Accommodation, why not try booking a serviced apartment for your stay. Liverpool has a large number of serviced apartment options when compared to similarly sized cities so you will have a good number of options to choose from. If you are finding yourself overwhelmed by the amount of choice on offer, then why not contact Serviced City Pads who can provide a wide range of serviced apartment types for your stay.

For those of us who have not been fortunate enough to see Zeppelin live, the show will be a great opportunity to see some absolute rock classics performed with the care and passion that they deserve. The band do not go in for any of the wigs and costumes that most tribute bands go in for as they try to look like their heroes – for Whole Lotta Led it is all about the music, and giving the best performances possible. Serviced apartments available in Liverpool for Everton FC home games

Monday, October 31st, 2011

Serviced apartments in Liverpool are becoming more and more popular with visitors to the city, whether you are coming to see an Everton home game or for any other reason. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool that could accommodate you for any visit to the city. To see the variety of serviced apartments available in Liverpool just visit the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website – you can do so by clicking here.

Serviced apartments are available in Liverpool for anyone visiting to see Everton FC play at home. These are difficult times for Everton – the club’s finances are in the spotlight like never before. City neighbours Liverpool have managed to jettison Hicks and Gillett, who reportedly took the club perilously close to going into administration during their tenure at Anfield, and gained new owners who seem to have ambition and money to spend. Now the blue half of Merseyside is drawing attention from the football world. The club and its fans are becoming increasingly concerned at the level of debt at Everton and despite the fact that owner Bill Kenwright has been trying to find a buyer it seems that none is forthcoming. There is increasing tension between Kenwright and certain sections of the Everton fanbase due to the leaking of a transcript of a meeting between Kenwright and members of supporters groups. There was recently a protest march by disaffected fans before a home game as they are upset that the club appears to be downscaling its ambitions in response to the situation. The sale of Spanish talisman Mikel Arteta to Arsenal and Jermaine Beckford to Leicester are a clear example of the fans’ concerns. The main players brought in have been loan signings in Drenthe and Straqualursi. Coming off a transfer window when the likes of Stoke and Sunderland have been able to splash the cash this is a worrying time for Everton fans. However, though the picture seems gloomy, Evertonians can take hope from the man in the dugout – in David Moyes they have one of the best managers around. He has managed to build a competitive squad on a much lower budget than his competitors yet season after season he has managed to keep Everton pushing for a European place. Moyes’ Everton teams have always been determined and organised and very hard to beat and despite the off field problems you wouldn’t bet against Moyes pulling another top 6 finish out the bag, and that is a testament to his quality as a manager.

If you will be coming to see Everton this season perhaps you have looked at serviced apartments for your visit? Here at Serviced City Pads we have a variety of serviced apartments across Liverpool available through our apartment operators. Serviced apartments are a home away from home, offering much more space and comfort than the typical hotel room. There are serviced apartments in Liverpool that are suitable for lone travellers and couples and ones that can accommodate families and groups. You can see the options available by visiting the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

Serviced apartments in Liverpool for LFC home games

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Serviced apartments in Liverpool are an increasingly popular option for visitors to the city. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a wide range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool that can be viewed by looking at the Liverpool city page on our website.

Serviced apartments are always in high demand in Liverpool any time there is a Liverpool FC home game at Anfield. This is a hugely important season for the Redmen as they are looking to regain their place amongst the European elite by qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. It will not be an easy task given the competition for the top four places; it used to be that there was a “top four” of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool, but now there is arguably a “top six” of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester City. The competition for the title this year looks like being a heavyweight contest between United and City (with Chelsea perhaps able to get in amongst it), which means that the fight for fourth is a battle between Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool. Not only will these three teams be aiming to reach the Champions League, they will probably also be dreading the terrible fate of Europa League qualification. It used to be that UEFA’s second competition was great fun – any Liverpool fan will fondly recall the 2001 UEFA Cup triumph. There is something wonderful about a simple two-legged knock out tournament, but unfortunately this great format has been replaced by a league format that results in matches that many football fans struggle to care about. The UEFA Cup used to hark back to the old days of the European Cup and the excitement of knock-out cup football; now it has been reduced to the Champions League’s ugly sibling. Liverpool were fortunate enough to miss out on Europa League qualification last season, and they will be hoping that they can qualify for the Champions League this season. However, this will not be easy given that Tottenham have gotten off to a flying start this season, and Arsenal seem to slowly but surely be putting their nightmare start behind them. To claim fourth, Liverpool need to be grabbing maximum points between now and the end of the season; too many games have seen the Reds fail to get maximum points despite performing well – the most recent example being Saturday’s match with Norwich. Kenny’s men should have been out of sight by half-time, but instead claimed only a point. There’s still a long way to go, but Liverpool will need to start getting the points they need to ensure that they can regain their place at the top tier of European football.

Serviced apartments are available in Liverpool for anyone travelling to see Liverpool FC play at home. Serviced apartments are a great alternative to the traditional hotel option, as they can offer a home away from home at competitive prices. To see the options that may be available in Liverpool, just visit the Liverpool city page on our website.

Serviced apartments in Liverpool for the X Factor at the Echo Arena

Friday, October 21st, 2011

Liverpool serviced apartments are still available for next February when The X Factor live tour will be visiting the ECHO Arena as they travel around the UK. Serviced apartments in Liverpool are a great choice for accommodation for anyone who will be travelling to Liverpool to see The X Factor live concert. Serviced apartments are increasingly popular as they can provide a home away from home for those travelling around the UK. You can see the range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool by visiting the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website.

The X Factor live tour will be coming to Liverpool on the 27th February 2012 next year, and serviced apartments are available for anyone who would require accommodation for the night. The X Factor is arguably the biggest television show around at the moment – it has consistently drawn in millions of viewers, and contestants on the show (both winners and finalists) have gone on to make their mark in the music industry. The show has spawned massive stars like Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and Matt Cardle all of whom won the show. However, even contestants who don’t claim the crown can still do very well, using the opportunity that the show gives them to establish themselves. Prime examples of this are Olly Murs and JLS who have both been successful thanks to their appearances on The X Factor. Last year’s X Factor tour saw fans across the nation flocking to see their favourites from the show perform live, and next year’s show should be no exception. This year has been as exciting as ever, with a number of strong contenders for The X Factor crown (it’s not literally a crown, just so we’re clear, I’m just using a metaphor). The bookie’s favourite seems to be Janet Devlin, the “Celtic soul singer” (copyright Louis Walsh), but the other girls, Misha B and Sophie Habibis, are also strong contenders. Although some think that the winner is bound to be one of the girls, due to the strength of the Kelly Rowland’s group, only a fool would write off some of the other contestants, for example, the ever-smiling Marcus or The Risk. As always, it should be a tense next few weeks as the finalists are slowly whittled down to one winner.

If you will be travelling to Liverpool to see The X Factor live concert, have you considered serviced apartments as accommodation for your stay? Serviced apartments in Liverpool are an excellent choice for anyone who has become tired of the traditional hotel room. The typical serviced apartment has a living and dining area and a kitchen, and is a perfect place to relax while you stay in Liverpool. To see the variety of serviced apartments available in Liverpool, take a look at the Liverpool city page on the Serviced City Pads website – to be taken to the page, just click here.

Serviced apartments in Liverpool Novana at the O2 Academy

Monday, October 17th, 2011

Serviced apartments are still available in Liverpool for next January, when Novana will be playing the O2 Academy. Liverpool serviced apartments are the increasingly popular option over the usual hotel room. To see the variety of serviced apartments available in Liverpool, visit the Serviced City Pads website – you can do this by clicking here.

Novana will be coming to Liverpool next January and there are Liverpool serviced apartments available to accommodate anyone visiting the city that night. Novana are a leading UK tribute band to Nirvana, and they will be bringing the music of the grunge titans to life in venues across the UK early next year. They will be playing the O2 Academy in Liverpool on the 14th January 2012. If you were not fortunate enough to catch the real Nirvana in the flesh, then this Novana show should give you an idea of what it would have been like – the band work hard to recreate the look and sound of a Nirvana show. Nirvana were one of the biggest and most influential bands of the 90s; the quiet-loud dynamic of their music and the cryptic and confessional nature of frontman Kurt Cobain’s lyrics influenced a whole generation of musicians. The band brought an alternative sound into the mainstream to the point where it is impossible to imagine rock music without Nirvana. Cobain always said that he was kicking against the hair-metal of the likes of Motley Crue and company and with the smash hit album “Nevermind” it seems that his mission was successful. Nirvana were part of a wave of bands who brought alternative sounds into the mainstream; thanks to them many underground bands like The Pixies and Big Black received the kind of attention they deserved. If you will be coming to Liverpool to see Novana then you are in for a treat, as the band will be performing Nirvana’s greatest songs and it should be a very enjoyable night for any fans of the band.

If you will be visiting Liverpool to see Novana, the UK’s leading Nirvana tribute band, you should look at serviced apartments for accommodation. Serviced apartments are a great alternative to hotel rooms as they can offer much more space and comfort than the typical hotel room. The usual serviced apartment has a living and dining area and a kitchen where meals can be prepared. Serviced apartments are ideal for anyone looking for a home away from home. Whether you are travelling alone or with family or friends, there will be a serviced apartment to suit you. On the Serviced City Pads website there is a wide range of serviced apartments available in Liverpool. Serviced apartments still available in Liverpool for Wretch 32 at the O2 Academy

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

Serviced apartments are still available in Liverpool for the night Wretch 32 plays the O2 Academy. Serviced apartments are an increasingly popular choice for those travelling around the UK, and if you will be coming to Liverpool to see Wretch 32, serviced apartments could be the ideal accommodation. Here at Serviced City Pads we have a range of serviced apartments in Liverpool that can be seen by visiting the Liverpool city page on our website.

Wretch 32 will be playing the Liverpool O2 Academy on the 20th October 2011 and there are still serviced apartments available for that night. Wretch 32 is the stage name of rapper Jermaine Scott, a new star of the UK music scene. Wretch 32 announced his arrival with his debut single “Traktor” which reached number 5 in the UK singles chart. The track is propelled forward by an incredibly catchy beat and sees the Wretch accompanied by the singer known only as L on the infectious chorus. The single was mainly released in digital format (though there was a limited vinyl release and apparently a CD, whatever that is…) and featured no less than 8 versions of the song. Wretch 32’s next song was similarly brilliant, particularly if you are a fan of the Stone Roses as the song is pretty much built around a looped sample of the mercurial Mancunians’ classic “Fool’s Gold”. The number 2 single “Unorthodox” featured the vocal stylings of fellow rapper Example and has lyrics about standing out from the crowd, being an individual, not playing by anyone else’s rules, etc. The video reinforces this powerful message, with some people dancing in unorthodox ways, a tattoo artist, and some people with, you know, piercings and stuff. Did I mention that they ride bikes? – they do, they literally ride bikes in the video – see it! Wretch 32’s most recent single, “Don’t Go” gave him his first number 1. It features the singer Josh Kumra, and is a heartfelt love song that has truly cemented Mr 32’s place in the mainstream. This success has led to his second album “Black and White” doing very well in the album charts, peaking at number 4 but continuing to sell. It will be interesting to see what 32 does next – anyone who will be attending his live shows should be able to hear some new material, as well as enjoying the hits that have established Wretch 32 as one of the most exciting artists around.

If you are coming to Liverpool to see Wretch 32 at the O2 Academy, have you considered serviced apartments for accommodation? Serviced apartments are the ever more popular choice for visitors to Liverpool as they can offer a home away from home. The typical serviced apartment has a lounge and dining area as well as a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. There are serviced apartments that are ideal for people travelling alone, couples, or even for families and large groups. To see the variety of options available to you, visit the Serviced City Pads website and take a look at the Liverpool city page.

If you will be visiting Liverpool this year, either to see Wretch 32 or for any other reason, why not stay in a serviced apartment? To find out more about serviced apartments, contact us here at Serviced City Pads and we will be happy to find the best options available. You can call 0844-335-8866 to speak to our reservations team, or you can submit your enquiry through our website.
