Imperial Apartments at South Western House, a Grade II listed building, was originally built in 1865 and is a historic landmark in the old dockland area of Southampton with some of the most momentous events of modern times. The hotel was acquired by the London and South Western Railway Company in 1871 with the hotel built over the ends of the railway lines. In 1912 many wealthy and prominent people stayed at the hotel before embarking on the ill-fated voyage of the 'Titanic'. Since then the hotel has been converted into apartments and now offers a choice of fully furnished one and two bedroom apartments. Each apartment offers complimentary Broadband, Freeview television and either a shower room or bathroom.

Booking Procedure

Payment
To confirm the booking Serviced City Pads require a non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total amount. Within 24 hours of booking the apartment operator will contact the guest to take a £300 holding deposit deducted from the total amount. The remaining balance is then payable 14 days before check-in. If bookings are made within 14 days of arrival then full payment is required. For long stays payment is required upfront at least every 28 days.

Security Deposit
A Security deposit may be taken to cover additional charges including breakages, damages and additional cleaning incurred during your stay in the case of Hen Parties, Stag Nights or any other function in Town or Country's judgement which may result in disrepair to the property. Town or Country reserve the right to deduct from the security deposit without further notice all amounts chargeable in respect of breakages, damages and all additional cleaning to a limit of £100.00.

Cancellation Policy
If your booking is cancelled within fourteen days of the arrival date, a 50% charge of the total amount will be incurred. Should Town or Country manage to occupy the property by another guest then you will receive a full refund minus a £100.00 administration fee.
