What is a Serviced Apartment?
A serviced apartment is a self contained, fully furnished apartment that is rented out on a short term basis to Business travellers and Private guests.
How can I book an apartment on servicedcitypads.com?
You can either contact SCP, detailing your requirements, via the Contact us section of the website or call SCP on 0151 709 8000. We will be happy to discuss your requirements and the booking process should only take a few minutes. All bookings are taken over the telephone and we accept credit cards (not AMEX), debit cards, and bank transfer.
How much will my apartment cost?
You can expect to pay about the same as a decent quality hotel room, often less, depite the obvious advantages. Rates from Serviced City Pads are very competitive. You will always be quoted on a per apartment per night basis, as opposed to a per person per night basis as many hotels often do. The price you are quoted will depend on the size of apartment; length of stay and the time of year you wish to stay. It is more expensive to stay when major events (such as The Grand National) are being held in Liverpool.
Whats included in the price that I am quoted?
Your apartment will be fully furnished and you will be provided with clean bed linen and towels on arrival. These are included in the price. The kitchen in your apartment will be fully kitted. This is all included in the price. Also included in the price is use of the apartment’s broadband internet connection, utilities, and council tax levied on the property.
How do I pay?
You will pay a non-refundable deposit to Serviced City Pads to confirm the booking. Methods and timing of payment of the balance varies from one apartment operator to the other.
What time can I check in?
The standard check in time is between 2.30pm and 6pm. This will be confirmed as part of the Booking confirmation process.
What time do I need to check out?
Standard check out time is 10.30am.
Can I check out later than 10.30am?
Late checkout can usually be arranged for an additional cost, but depends on availability.
Am I charged a booking fee by SCP?
No. The booking service is free of charge to the guest. The 12.5% deposit is taken from the total value of the booking as shown within the booking confirmation email.
How long can I stay?
You can stay from as little as one night for as long as you want. We do however advise that you should think about buying an apartment if you are still with us after 12 months! The general rule is that you can book a Serviced City Pad up to 12 months in advance. However, we will always endeavour to accommodate your booking as far in advance as you need. What if I decide to cancel?
Cancellation policies vary from one apartment operator to the other. These will be confirmed to you as part of the booking confirmation email. SCP has a standard cancellation policy: Please refer to our terms and conditions.
What will I require to check in?
All you need is your booking reference form that SCP has emailed to you, photographic ID and the card that you made the booking with.
Do you accept pets?
No. SCP operates a strict no pets policy.
Can I smoke in the apartment?
No. SCP operates a strict no smoking policy.
What if I cause any damage to the property during my stay?
The cost of any damages to the property that have resulted from your stay will be charged directly to your credit / debit card, plus a £25 admin fee. We will send you a receipt of all work and replacement goods required following your stay.
What if I do break something during my stay?
The cost of any replacements will be taken from your Security Deposit. Call SCP as soon as possible to report any damage to the apartment.
Does the quoted rate include all taxes?
Serviced City Pads is not currently registered for VAT.
