Audio Vision – Visit Liverpool

On your short stay in Liverpool in a Serviced City Pads serviced apartment why not visit the Liverpool first Audio Vision festival which will be a delight for the senses, featuring visual installations, live VJ’d music, screenings, visual workshops and even an outdoor bike and theatre (FACT,Sept 15-19).
Staying in Liverpool and visiting the festival which is hosted by Liverpool band Kenetic Fallacy, Emma Welsby and Hannah Peel perform live using laptop, trombone, violin, keys, vibraphone, vocals, drums and percussion – a blend of classical instrumentation, jazz, alternative hip hop and electronic beats.
For Audio Vision, Kenetic Fallacy will collaborate with Filmmakers, VJ’s and animators to create pieces that are performed in sync. A specially commissioned visual installation from NOMO(NYC/David Byrne) and local artist Jacqueline Passmore (Ladytron/Stereolab) will be projected onto the facade of the Mersey Tunnel air vent (Sept 15-19, 8pm-12pm).
The festival nights on September 20 will see Wrap Records film makers Flate and music artist Ultre collaborating to produce a new set. Kentic Fallacy will be collaborating and performing live with Addictive TV – all to the backdrop of the giant projections on the air vent. The festival sees a unique collaboration between local visual artists and the outstanding Smith Quartet at the Bluecoat pm Wednesday September 17.
